Who is Lillycakes?
I am a self taught Latina baker from Hartford, CT. I moved to Florida 20 years ago escaping the cold weather. I am a mother of 2 (28 yr old daughter, 16 yr old son), a wife, and a grandmother of a 5 year old. I was the baker of the family when I was young and I fell in love with cake designing after I saw an episode of Cake Boss. I was introduced to fondant and I began expanding my knowledge of cake art and cake science. Every cake is different so every time I design a cake it’s a new learning experience. I figured if my family and friends loved my cakes, why not share it with the rest of the world. I have been blessed with this talent and lots and lots of patience. I love what I do and I enjoy my client’s reaction when they first see their cake. I am grateful for my customers, who have become friends and I look forward to building new relationships with new customers.
